Exploring the Most Exciting Projects in Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas, Nevada is a city that never stops evolving. From the iconic neon signs of the Fremont Street Experience to the modern luxury of the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, there is always something new to discover. But what are some of the most popular projects in Las Vegas?Project Enchilada is an ambitious initiative spearheaded by former Las Vegas City Attorney, Brad Jerbic, and other private sector stakeholders. The goal is to save and restore some of the iconic buildings and neighborhoods in downtown Las Vegas.

The first phase involves rehabilitating the historic Huntridge Theater and Fremont Street, from Las Vegas Boulevard to 14th Street. The tunnels will eventually connect everything from the Fremont Street Experience, in the city center, to Harry Reid International Airport and all points in between. The World Market Center Expo is another popular project in Las Vegas. This magnificent new facility boasts 315,000 square feet of exhibition space that can be divided into two separate rooms. It can accommodate an impressive 1000 stands, in addition to a dedicated registration area, a lobby, a bus depot, an attached parking garage and comfortable food service areas. The Circa Resort & Casino is one of the most significant changes in the downtown Las Vegas skyline.

This impressive casino-resort was built by the owner of The D and Golden Gate, Derek Stevens, on the site of the old Las Vegas club. The Viva Vision screen at the Fremont Street Experience has also been revamped. This dazzling marquee features 15,000 LED lights and several works of art that are worth visiting on their own. Miracle Mile Shops is another popular project in Las Vegas. This 475,000-square-foot mall attached to the Planet Hollywood Resort will undergo interior and exterior renovation this spring. Whiskey Licker Up at Binion's Gambling Hall is a great place for a fun and unique nightlife experience in downtown Las Vegas. And if you're not a tequila or mezcal drinker, this stunning bar has plenty to offer. Finally, Southwest Airlines recently posted record quarterly revenues after carrying 1.8 million passengers to and from Las Vegas.

As a tourist and conference center, Las Vegas always has a number of exciting construction projects on the horizon.
